The Network started through the Renew Program in 1982. It originally was a phone system where approximately 62 people were notified and then prayed. As time went on and more and more women went back to work/school, it evolved into the present system of everyone in the parish being a automatic member. The intentions are published weekly so that everyone who reads the bulletin can see what requests have come in that week
If you have any requests that you would like prayers for whether it be yourself, a family member, neighbor, etc., you may call one of the chair people and it will appear in the bulletin. We also have a list in the atrium where you may write your request which also will appear in the bulletin. We pray for the intentions on the Network at all Masses at the Prayer of the Faithful.
A regular feature of the weekly bulletin, which includes the intentions that have come on the network for that week. We will respect your wishes if you do not want your name or actual intention mentioned. Contact Viv Dorwart or Sue Murray
