~LITURGY COMMITTEE/MUSIC MINISTRY~

The Liturgy Committee has three basic responsibilities: to foster the spiritual life of the parish, to educate the parish in liturgical matters, and to plan, implement, and evaluate the worship life of the parish.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS These ministers assist in the distribution of Holy Communion on Sundays, Holy Days and other special celebrations. Some ministers identified as pastoral visitors, distribute communion at hospitals, nursing homes, and to parishioners confined at home.

READERS They proclaim the scriptures at Sunday Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Any paparishioner, high school age or older, is invited to be trained to share in the ministry of God's Word.

ALTAR CAREGIVERS AND SACRISTANS They ensure that the missals, vessels, hosts, wine, purificators and all other linens are ready for Mass and other liturgies.
