Dear Parishioners,

Grace and peace to you.

This year marks my 27th year with you to celebrate the great liturgies of Holy Week and the Easter season.

Over the years, at this sanctuary, you and I have renewed faith, sustained hope, and practiced Christian love as we witnessed the birth, growth, maturity, decline and death of our children, youth, and younger and older adults.

Now, within an extraordinary Year of Mercy, our faith community has arrived at the season of spring with promises of renewed natural and supernatural life through the Lord of Nature and Life.

May God bless our staff, parish servant-leaders, and congregation. As disciples of Jesus Christ, let us envision and plan, worship and praise God, share the joy of the Gospel, instruct in the word of God and Christian doctrine, do justice and service, and be gracious stewards of our spiritual and material gifts.

Let us continue to revere the rich heritage of hope passed on through generations, grow in faith together, persevere with grace under pressure, embrace our mission and shape our future on this historical site and beyond our parish boundaries within the whole Church at Baltimore.

I give thanks to God for His mercies for what our church family has accomplished through your generous spiritual and material support, and dutiful ministry and service through our Gift of Hours.

With you in my prayers, and trust in the risen Lord who gives eternal life, I am,

Yours truly,

Fr. Michael J. Ruane
